Konami games for iPhone

Game-producer Konami has announced versions of Silent Hill, DanceDanceRevolution and Metal Gear Solid for the iPhone and iPod touch platforms. The first-person shooter Silent Hill The Escape allows gamers to control character movement by sliding a finger across the touchscreen, while the accelerometer provides input for aiming weapons at enemies. DanceDanceRevolution S Lite features 3D characters with the dance moves controlled by virtual buttons on the touchscreen.

Metal Gear Solid Touch features the setting, story and characters from MGS4. The initial download will include 8 stages, with more to be added later. Gamers can earn points when each stage is completed, allowing access to locked images and wallpapers.

Silent Hill and DanceDanceRevolution are scheduled for release late in December. Metal Gear Solid Touch will be available sometime next spring.

I'd love to see DDR for the iPod touch where you strap a Touch to each foot and DANCE!
