Lenovo OPhone specs leaked

Some basic specifications have emerged on the still-unnamed Lenovo handset and is due to use Google's Android operating system. The touchscreen handset is now known to sport a five-megapixel camera with autofocus, flash and video-recording capabilities. While it's not yet clear if or how much onboard memory is present, the handset will have a microSD memory card slot for expansion. The previously guessed at input method will consist of an English/Chinese virtual keyboard. Bluetooth 2.0 will be integrated as well.

Phones such as this one are nicknamed OPhones due to their use of the open-source operating system meant mainly for use in China, where the iPhone has not been welcomed with open arms like in other countries because provider China Mobile did not want to share profits with a foreign company. Since then, Apple has changed its business model.

The Lenovo handset, as well as other OPhones, run on a custom version of Android called the Open Mobile System that support China's native TD-SCDMA standard for 3G data. [via Modmygphone]

    Ha!

OMG, that Lenovo logo is so s***...

What? China Mobile doesn't want to play ball with a company outside control of the state? I'm shocked. Truly shocked.
