Number Crunch, IQ-Test

  • Star Walk ($5) is a realistic stargazing guide for the iPhone and iPod touch. Star Walk helps users recognize objects in the night sky by locating them on an interactive star map, and then tapping “i” to retrieve useful facts, such as celestial coordinates. The app also features a "time machine" that lets users see expected skies from the past or future.

  • Brain Blaze Add ($1) helps users keep their brains active through the completion of basic math problems. The software features 12 sets of flash cards that include a total of 169 addition cards, each offering six answers generated by algorithm. Progress is tracked, and the app can display a color-coded progress grid that provides a way to view strengths and weaknesses in both accuracy and speed.

  • BasicFrac Fractions ($1) teaches the basics of using fractions in math. The app provides help with addition and subtraction, equivalent fractions, reduction, improper fractions and more. Guides attempt to promote flexible thinking by presenting various approaches to the subject matter.

  • Number Crunch ($3) is game that has players using six generated numbers to reach a target number. Players can use addition, subtraction, multiplication or division to reach a target, as well as brackets for more complex equations. The game incorporates 10 levels of difficulty that range from basic to genius.

  • IQ-Test ($1) allows users to gauge their IQ score through an Apple handheld. The test is consistent with standards of IQ testing, and offers various questions that must be answered within a time limit. Users can also choose to pass on questions and move forward, answering them later if desired.
