DataClean 1.0.0 released

Arten Science is shipping the first version of DataClean, a data sorting tool. Users are able to import data grids from CSV or TAB delimited files, and then process the content to be neater and/or more organized before exporting back to TAB or CSV, or else Microsoft's Excel format. Alternately, users can save with their own custom delimiter.

Commands supported by the software are generally divided into Find, Format, Replace, Insert and Remove. Users can for example choose to remove leading or trailing spaces, insert a blank row, or capitalize a set of words. DataClean costs a minimum of $45, and is available for Mac, Linux and Windows systems; the Mac version requires a 1GHz processor and Mac OS X 10.4.
