Apps: Keyboard Maestro, PDF Merge, Back-In-Time

Keyboard Maestro 3.5 ($36) is a utility meant to improve the convenience of Mac OS X by enabling macro shortcuts, which can be activated at any time. Macros allow users to control windows or menus, insert text, open documents, execute scripts or control iTunes all with the touch of a key or click of the mouse. The update has added support for control from an iPhone or iPod touch, a brand new Macro Palette, new Preferences and About windows, new actions for iTunes and more. [Download - 6.3MB]

PDF Merge 2.2 ($14) allows users to merge several PDF files into one. Users can drag the files they want to merge to the application and order them to their needs. Version 2.2 has added a new interface for changing the order of the PDF files. [Download - 0.73MB]

Back-In-Time 1.2 ($29) offers an alternative method to restoring data using backups created by Time Machine. With Back-In-Time users can see how many versions of each document are available and when they were saved they can also view items that were deleted. AudioLobe 3.5 ($20) allows users to alter the playback speed and pitch rate of audio files, which can be helpful when attempting to learn a difficult section of a song. AudioLobe allows users to save the altered files meaning users can keep copies of tracks for practicing along with. Version 3.5 has added a volume preference to allow the default volume to be set automatically when AudioLobe is started. Calcline 1.4 ($20) is an application for evaluating mathematical expressions with parentheses, nested functions and variables. Expressions can be solved in a step by step process that shows all the calculations needed to find the final answer.
