KeyBag keystroke logger

ProteMac has released KeyBag, a program that intercepts and records every keystroke entered on a Mac. The utility allows users to keep track of all chat conversations, applications opened, and keys pressed in any application, all while running hidden in the background. Users can also use the records as a detailed backup copy of information, in case a file is accidentally deleted or the computer malfunctions.

A log viewer and application-use chart can be accessed to determine what content was entered into which application. KeyBag 1.0 requires Mac OS X 10.4 or higher, and can be downloaded under a single-user license for $65.

Because there are so many legit uses for keystroke loggers outside of an FBI investigation...

As in: thank god I logged all of my wife's passwords, text messages, and everything else, otherwise she might have... forgotten... them!

And it hides itself so that it doesn't get in her way on a day to day basis. Very considerate that.

This is about as plausible as the big bongs in New York City head shops that are labelled 'for tobacco use only'.
