Mouseposé 3.1 adds invisible keystroke option

updated 04:20 pm EST, Mon December 1, 2008

Mousepose update

Boinx Software on Monday announced Mouseposé 3.1, the latest update to its mouse-pointer highlighting tool for presentations, screencasts and demos. Users can now define a list of custom keystrokes that remain invisible when using the keystroke display, with the full range of key combinations only shown when modifier keys are pressed. The update is also claimed to improve stability and performance during start-up on some computers.

Mouseposé is designed to focus attention on specific parts of a presentation. Mouse clicks are highlighted with red or blue circles, providing visual differentiation between the number of clicks and the left or right button. Users can also configure the program to offer audio feedback, or dim the screen to show the pointer location when a hotkey is pressed.

Mouseposé is priced at $17 for a single license, or $30 for a five-computer family license. Customers can also upgrade to the family version for $13.
