SecuritySpy bumped to v1.6
Ben Software has launched SecuritySpy 1.6, upgrading its multi-camera video surveillance software for the Mac. The security software supports motion detection, real-time compression and network video streaming and can be purchased for single-camera use or multiple-camera uses. Version 1.6 adds multi-threaded compression routines for multiple-core processors, H.264 video compression support and server stability improvements. It also adds support for viewing captured movies on an iPhone or iPod touch.
SecuritySpy supports network cameras and video servers, as well as FireWire, USB, and PCI video input devices. It requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later, and costs from $50 for a single-camera license to $500 for unlimited cameras.
