Script Debugger 4.5 adds Unicode Leopard support
Late Night Software has released Script Debugger 4.5, updating its AppleScript authoring environment with 28 major new features and improvements. The editor now fully supports Unicode on Leopard systems and there is a new scripts menu and inspector which supports OSA scripts, Unix scripts and Automator workflows. Script Debugger now auto-saves recovery information whenever a script is executed and script no longer have length limitations on Leopard systems. The editor now automatically closes AppleScript block structures, provides a Text Substitution feature for using keywords to replace long code-strings and the editor now automatically closes parentheses and quotes during typing.
Script Debugger allows users to author AppleScripts, from exploring to editing and running scripts, with a debugging tool for fixing problems and support for reusing older Mac OS X scripts. Version 4.5 requires Mac OS X 10.4 or higher, with Mac OS X 10.5 or higher recommended. The software sells for $200.
