updated 12:05 pm EST, Fri November 28, 2008

Driving Test, TV Shows

  • Slam it! ($1) provides users with a way to select a random person when an easy decision cannot be made. Each person selects a playing field by placing a finger on the screen. Once everyone has lifted their finger, a spinner in the center will begin to spin. To stop the spinner someone needs to slam on the desk around the iPhone and it will detect that and start to slow the spinner down. There are two different game modes included, "Protect Yourself" and "Last Player Wins", as well as three different themes, "Roulette", "Psycho" and "Techno".

  • Oil Canvas ($2) gives users the ability to turn their images into oil paintings. Users import a photo into the application then choose a brush size and begin painting. Oil Canvas then uses the base picture to automatically determine colors so users need only worry about stroke direction and brush size. For a limited time, the first 50,000 users can download OilCanvas free from the Apple App Store.

  • Pocket Price ($1) is a tool that helps users to calculate discounted prices. Users can enter the price, the discount and the tax and Pocket Price will display the final price.

  • Driving Test ($1) helps users prepare for their written diver's license test by providing over 275 test questions with multiple choice answers. The app presents questions in a random order and provides detailed score at the end of each test. The test covers all the categories that the actual test will cover including rules of the road, speed limits, turns, signaling, etc.

  • TV Shows ($4) helps users to follow of their favorite shows from their iPhone or iPod touch. The application displays information about TV shows that aired yesterday, today and tomorrow. The information shown includes title, season number, episode number, channel and airtime. Users can select the shows they want to track from a database of more than 1000 shows.
