iPhone apps: Task2Gather, AppSniper, Meeting Time

  • Task2Gather ($1) allows users to keep all of their personal, family and business tasks in a web cloud so they are always accessible from an internet device. Tasks can be shared among family members, friends or colleagues and can be used as a to-do or shopping list or a collaborative tool for task management at work.

  • AppSniper ($1) lets users track the prices of various apps in the App Store and see which are on sale. The application will also notify users when apps they are interested in have reached their price target.

  • Meeting Time ($1) helps users to set up a suitable time for a meeting that includes people from across several time zones. Users can select from a list of worldwide locations and then the time in each location with be displayed. Users can then modify the time to set a meeting and see what time it would be at in each of the other locations respectively. When an appropriate time has been found users can email the contacts from the app with the information.

  • Discover (free) gives users the ability to transfer files from a computer to an iPhone via Wi-Fi networks. Windows users can install a client and Mac users will have instant access to the features through integrated support with Bonjour and Safari. Discover also allows users to share files from iPhone to iPhone if they are connected to the same network. Discover also features a multi-format file viewer that lets users view different document, video, audio and photo files.

  • OneDisk ($8) is a solution for accessing files on a users MobileMe iDisk, save them to the iPhone or iPod touch, read on the go or email to friends or colleagues. Along with iDisk the application can connect to any WebDAV enabled online file storage system such as Box.Net.
