Omni Group announces OmniGraffle 5.1, OmniFocus 1.5

Omni Group has announced updated versions of two products, OmniGraffle 5.1 and OmniFocus 1.5. The diagramming and layout program, OmniGraffle, features improved Visio compatibility with support for the Enhanced MetaFile format. The company also enhanced the interface with changes to the sidebar, with the highlight now falling on the selected layer for better readability. Users can also take advantage of several new drawing tools, including adjustable arc, wedge, and star shapes.
OmniFocus can now synchronize between the Mac and iPhone databases via MobileMe, web servers, or Bonjour. A new style preference plane offers data appearance customization, and an option to save the settings as theme files. Presets have been added to the toolbar, allowing easier access to the in-box and various items. The company also improved the general performance and refined the interface.
OmniGraffle 5.1 is available as a standard version or Pro, with prices of $100 and $200, respectively. The Pro version offers an advanced set of tools, with additional document creation and editing options. OmniFocus licenses sell for $80, with educational, quantity, or family discounts available from the company.
