Sente 5.7 enhances note taking support, interface

Third Street Software has released Sente 5.7, upgrading its academic reference manager's note-taking feature with support for taking notes from PDFs and web pages. Version 5.7 features a completely rewritten interface with better usability and appearance. Amazon.com and IngentaConnect are now supported in the v5.7 browsing feature as well. The software aids users in finding, organizing reviewing and citing academic literature, and it maintains a library of PDF files of information a user has gathered for future reference.

Sente 5.7 can search hundreds of on-line reference databases, download PDFs, create references and supports technologies like ISBN and DOI.

It is now available for $130 with academic and undergraduate editions available. It requires Mac OS X 10.4 or higher and 1GB RAM.
