iPhone Handy Battery Pack
USBfever has released its latest accessory for the iPhone 3G, the Handy Battery Pack. The pack fits around the back of the phone like a case, leaving the buttons, ports, and camera accessible. Two gaps are left near the bottom corners, allowing sound from the speakers to be heard while watching video or listening to music. The charging status is indicated by two LEDs on the front of the battery pack. Users can connect the phone, battery pack, and charging cable at the same time, but cannot sync while the device is attached to the phone.
The USBfever pack has a similar form factor to the Mophie Juice Pack, but only provides 1000mAh capacity compared to 1800mAh. The Richard Solo Smart Backup Battery offers a capacity in between, at 1200mAh, but hangs from the docking port instead of wrapping around the phone. The Handy Battery Pack is now available from the company for $30.

Can u say Mophie rip-off?
Wow, that doesn't look anything like the Mophie Juice Pack, does it?
And nice copy with the ad too, "You may rejuice your iPhone". Sounds like a blatant rip-off.
Buyer beware. I bought USBfever's iPhone (3G) power station and it is on the piece of c r a p side. Not well made, occasionally freaks out. I just received the Mophie Juice Pack today. What a difference. Very Mac like experience (and price) but worth it. The Juice pack actually syncs to iTunes with its mini-usb cable. It appears to be very well built and has a one-year warranty.
I would be very wary buying anything from USBfever again. That's just my 2˘. I'm guessing anyone who has purchased anything from them may have the same feeling. Often times you get what you pay for.
I have no stake in Mophie, just impressed with their quality and equally unimpressed with USBfever's.
