Chronograph 1.0 ships
Milk Farm Software has released the first version of Chronograph, a time-tracking application meant for businesses and personal projects. The app attempts to differ itself through simplicity, only presenting more options as they become relevant. Users start by creating projects, which are then divided into tasks, at which point a timer can be started.
The program allows an unlimited number of projects and tasks, and supports the creation of reports through export to PDF or HTML, and/or e-mailing to a client. Future versions of the app should support Menu Bar integration, iPhone sync, and customizable report templates. Chronograph costs $20 and requires Mac OS X 10.5 or later, but is also available in a trial version that disables exports and limits people to two tasks.

Looks great, with lots of handy features. Another great time tracking alternative is available from TSheets. With Jott.com integration, clock in/out via SMS, an iPhone mobile time tracking app, and new and improved QuickBooks integration, there's something for everyone at TSheets.
