WiFiTrak, Newsstand

  • FaceCall ($3) allows users to select a contact from their Address Book, select a phone number and picture and then create a shortcut on their home screen. The application takes advantage of Apple's Web Clips technology that allows the icons to behave as other icons would, meaning users can hold and then drag icons to reorder them.

  • Talking Board (aka 'Ouija Board') ($2) is a recreation of the popular seance tool for the iPhone. The application turns the screen into a Ouija board with printed letters, numbers and other various symbols, with a moveable indicator controlled by a finger. The application currently includes 10 different board designs.

  • Box.net (free) gives users access to their Box.net account directly from the iPhone. This allows users to access any Office documents that have been uploaded to the server, which can be handy when collaborating on a project. When either party uploads a file the application will instantly allow users to check that file without the need to be at a desktop computer.

  • WifiTrak ($1) helps users find free and open WiFi hotspots and public access points easily. The application scans for all available WiFi devices and networks in the area and tests each network to find if its useable. The networks are then sorted from most useable (open, not restricted, strongest signal) to the least useable (secured or hidden, weak signal).

  • Newsstand ($5) is an RSS reader for the iPhone with a unique interface that turns a users feeds into a shelf of newspapers and magazines. The application features automatic feed discovery and an integrated Bloglines feed search.
