Apps: Ghost, Jing, Yum

Ghost 1.1 (free) provides users with a simple way to create or view hidden files. By dragging and dropping files or folders into the applications window then selecting either hide or unhide. The update now prevents users from hiding their hard drives, which cannot simply be unhidden. The application now quits when the last window is closed and other various bugs have been addressed. Jing 1.6.10389m (free) is a screen capturing application with the ability to take pictures or videos of a users screen. Users can then add arrows, text or highlights to draw attention to important information on the screen. The update has fixed a crash that occurred while recording video. [Download - 3.5MB]

Yum 2.7.3 (free) is an organizational tool for managing a personal collection of recipes. Recipes can be tagged with custom categories and then sorted by those categories. Text can be fully formatted including fonts, styles and paragraph settings. Graphics can also be included with each recipe. [Download - 2.6MB]

Transmission 1.4 (free) is a BitTorrent client designed to be clean and simple. Transmission allows users to customize settings for making downloads work how the users want them to, downloads can be queued, speeds can be throttled and bandwidth can be limited. The update has reduced disk fragmentation and also gives more accurate bandwidth limits. The update has also addressed several bugs that hindered overall performance. [Download - 3.8MB]

Media Rage 3.4.3 ($30) is a collection of tools that allow users to edit information stored within MP3, AAC, FLAC, BWF, and Ogg Vorbis audio files. Media Rage can help with organizing and sorting thousands of audio files. The update has added the ability to modify up to four attributes at ones in the "Edit" sheet within Media Scrubber.
