EyeTV 2.5.3 shipping

Elgato has released EyeTV 2.5.3, with improved VHF reception for Australian users and fixes for live buffer recording crashes and manual schedule problems under Leopard. The new version also fixes a "Device could not be initialized error" when using AV inputs.

EyeTV software supports Elgato's EyeTV Hybrid and EyeTV 250 television tuners, providing recording-scheduling services and timeshifting programming. It allows users to edit and export programming for burning to DVD. The software is available for download now, requiring the original activation code to upgrade. It requires Mac OS X 10.4.11 or above, but strongly recommends Mac OS X 10.5.4 or higher. A Mac with at least a 500MHz processor is also required.

    Old release

This is the same version that was released a couple of months ago. Dunno why it's just now showing up on the Apple site.

    2.5.3?

Great. How about fixing the editing bugs in v3.0.4.

    Ya, old news

This was released in August. I thought they did a better job at staying up to date here. They should of put a date when it was out so that I didn't think I needed to update my software. I'd call this a glitch in an otherwise nice site.
