A Thursday report confirms several Samsung handsets will soon be shipping to various wireless providers, including the long-awaited Omnia i910 smartphone coming to Verizon. Along with the Saga i770, it will use Windows Mobile 6.1 as its operating system, with a Renown U810 flip phone also joining the Verizon offerings. The Omnia should share the GSM original's five-megapixel camera, GPS and Wi-Fi but may not have the T*Omnia's higher-resolution display.

Two new handsets with Samsung's TouchWiz interface, the Eternity A867 and Behold T919, are due to ship to AT&T and T-Mobile, respectively; the latter has already been confirmed for next week. The A867 was previously billed to sport a 3-megapixel camera, but the latest report has it matching the T919's 5-megapixel shooter.

Finally, Alltel is due to get the entry-level SCH-R600 Hue II, which sports removable color panels to allow customization along with a 2-megapixel camera. AT&T will get the SGH-A777 midrange slider phone that offers a large number of color options along with a 1.3-megapixel camera.

No specific release dates nor pricing information was revealed about most of the above handsets. [via PhoneArena]
