iPhone apps: Cychosis, FitView, Calorie Counter

  • Cychosis ($5) is a cycling journal that allows users to quickly record rides, filter rides and view summary statistics over those rides and keep track of the total mileage. Users also are given the option to set goals and track their progress against them.

  • FitView ($4) gives users tools for tracking many aspects of aerobic exercise and vital statistics. The application allows users to create multiple profiles each being able to track their own statistics. Users can track various exercises included running, swimming, walking, yoga and more.

  • Fast Food Calorie Counter ($3) provides users with nutritional information for most popular fast food joints, allowing users to keep track of their diet even when they have to eat on the run. The app contains 4,700 menu items from 41 of the top fast food restaurants, including Arby's, Dairy Queen and Pizza Hut.

  • Quit it (Smoking) ($1) is a motivational application to support and encourage smokers to quit and help ex-smokers stay away from picking up the habit again. The application keeps track of the cigarettes that users did not smoke and calculates how much money they are saving.

  • Distance Meter ($3) is a multi-purpose GPS distance tracker that uses the iPhone 3G's built-in GPS receiver to track distance travelled and even speed. Users can also log workout data to MapMyFitness.com to keep track of all their walks, hikes or bike rides.
