Impact Series iPhone case
OtterBox has started shipping its Impact Series case for the iPhone 3G. The device is protected by a silicone skin, with thicker corner protection designed to spread the force of an impact. All buttons, ports, and functions can still be accessed directly through the case, while the camera, speaker, and microphone are left open. The company claims that the inside corners are engineered to dissipate energy away from the phone if it is dropped.
The case is designed to fit the 8GB and 16GB capacity iPhone 3G models. The OtterBox Impact Series case is available from the company for $20, in either white or black color variants.
