Elements SBM 1.0 for Mac
After months of beta testing, Ntractive has released Elements SBM 1.0, business management software for small- to medium-sized businesses. The hybrid web app integrates management tools for customer relationship management, projects, inventory control, documents and personal information. The company says Elements is designed to work seamlessly with iCal and other Apple software, as well as third-party applications like MYOB's AccountEdge.
Based on Apple's open-source WebKit engine, Elements SBM includes a desktop component and browser access to content stored at Ntractive's data center. The idea, Ntractive says, is to provide the speed and convenience of a desktop application with the utility of a web app.
Elements SBM includes tools to manage sales, track leads and customers, generate call lists, organize marketing campaigns based on cost-benefit analysis, and measure return on investment. The software integrates with iCal, Address Book, iChat, iPhoto, and Safari to organize and manage business data. Users can access company reports from anywhere using the Elements browser, or from an iPhone using a specially-designed web app.
Elements 1.0 supports Mac OS X 10.4.11 or higher, and is available in a monthly subscription for $70 per user.
