Forum roundup: Applecare

Rumors that production of the Mac mini will stop has caused concern for some members of the MacNN forums, and others hope that a better replacement is in the works. Forum goers debate the practicality of buying Applecare in response to one users question "is Applecare worth it?" Members discuss the performance differences between the 5400 and 7200 hard drive speeds in the new MacBook and MacBook Pro. Long time forum member, Simon, started a thread looking for some assistance with iCal. FTrain, a Junior Member of the forums, started a thread in hopes of finding an answer to a problem they are having when starting up their "white dome" iMac.
