Mobis Xtand for iPod touch

Mobis Technology has released the Just Mobile Xtand, a stand for the iPod touch first-generation or second-generation. The company uses solid aluminum construction, with a path milled through the back panel for cord pass-through when using the iPod with the USB cable connected. A knob adjustmend behind the device allows for adjustment of viewing angle and height, in addition to orientation of the device between horizontal and vertical.

The stand still allows for access to all of the Touch controls. The base features non-slip feed for added security. The Just Mobile Xtand will be available sometime in November for $40.

    News?

Uh, hello - uh - I bought one of these over a month ago. It has been available from a number of places on the web. It is nice, but you can't use it if you have any kind of cover/glove on the Touch (I have a 1st-Gen). It is handy when doing a synch, but mostly it sits there empty. The iPod really needs to be in your hand to do anything besides sych, unless you're watching a short video.
