iPhone apps: RainbowNote, inchCALC+, Whack the Dead

  • RainbowNote ($4) is a note application that looks to bulid upon Apple's default Notes app. It allows users to make notes on different papers and also features both portrait and landscape typing modes. The app also lets users sort their notes by color, date or title and also features a search option for finding a specific note among many.

  • inchCALC+ ($7) is a calculator that has been optimized for people who work with feet, inch and fraction dimensions. The calculator can input and out dimensions just as they would be seen on a tape measure to avoid the hassle of converting to decimal values and then back. The calculator can also work with fractions and automatically rounds to the lowest common denominator.

  • Whack the Dead ($3) is a halloween spin on the classic Whack-a-Mole game. Players must eliminate the zombies, eery creatures and beings from beyond the grave by whacking them as they appear from holes in the ground. Players will collect addition power-ups as they progress which will help quickly eliminate any ghouls.

  • A.I. Disk ($8) allows users to access files on their MobileMe iDisk, save them to an iPhone or iPod touch, read them on the go or even email them along. A.I. Disk is also capable of connecting to any WebDAV enabled online file storage like Box.net or FilesAnywhere.

  • PhoneFaves ($1) is a series of quick-dial buttons that allow users can place on either their home screen or dock. Currently there are six variants of the application offered "Mom", "Dad", "Grandma", "Grandpa", "My Girl", and "My Boy".
