Nokia releases extra-small BH-804 headset

Nokia BH-804 Headset

Nokia on Wednesday aimed at the ultraportable side of Bluetooth headsets and launched the BH-804. The peripheral is the company's smallest-ever earpiece at just under 1.7 inches long and is also made of relatively high-end materials, including an almost entirely aluminum shell. It lasts for about four hours of continuous talk despite its size and builds in DSP-based noise canceling to cut back on outside noise.

The headset uses a micro USB connector to recharge and comes with a desktop charger to simplify powering up. Nokia ships the BH-804 during the fall but hasn't said which countries will release the add-on or at what price.

Looks a lot like the Apple Bluetooth Headset (see, but even a bit smaller. Cool to see just how optimized the overall design of such headsets has become - can the size get any smaller, and still be usable?
