New to the program is a revised interface, which combines Cover Flow with other technologies such as Quick Look.

Search functionality has been expanded to search all chosen sites simultaneously, the art from which is displayed in a combined shelf. Also present is a companion Research Assistant utility, which lets users enter their own sites for search, and the option of directly inserting an image captured via a QuickTime-compatible webcam.
