Guitar Hero: Aerosmith out

Aspyr Media has shipped Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, featuring 40 tracks from Aerosmith and artists that either worked with the band or inspired it. The game gives players an opportunity to live the life of the band, progressing through a career, playing original songs and remastered ones. Daryl "DMC" McDaniels guest stars, and the game features historical venues from highlighted moments in the band's history.

Players can perform lead, rhythm or bass guitar. Songs from Lenny Kravitz, Run DMC and Stone Temple Pilots are included, along with the 25 master tracks from Aerosmith. The game can be played offline, or with other gamers via the Internet.

Requirements involve Mac OS X 10.4.11 or higher, a 2GHz Core 2 Duo, and 1GB or RAM. The game also requires at least a GeForce 7300 or Radeon X1600 video card, and a broadband connection for play over the Internet. It is shipping now and costs $40.
