Apple deals: refurb iPods, mobile Macs

Apple's online store is currently offering great deals on refurbished previous generation iPods and portable Macs. At the bottom of the pricing scale is the 1GB iPod shuffle for $39 and the 2GB model for $59, both come in silver, blue, green and purple. Next up is the 8GB iPod nano for $99 in silver, blue, green, black or pink. The iPod classic is priced at $169 for the 80GB model and $249 for the 160GB model, both come in silver or black. Finally is the iPod touch in three configurations 8GB for $179, 16GB for $219, and 32GB for $319.

Previous generation MacBooks start at $849 for the white 2.1GHz model and go up to $1099 for the black 2.4GHz model. The 15-inch MacBook Pros start at $1,349 for the 2.4GHz model and go up to $1,799 for the 2.6GHz model. The 17-inch MacBook Pro models have a starting price of $1999 for a 2.4GHz model and peak at $2,399 for a 2.6GHz model. MacBook Airs start at $1349 for the 1.6GHz model with 2GB of memory and 80GB PATA hard drive and go up to $1799 for the 1.8GHz model with 2GB of memory and 64GB solid state drive.
