Romanize Chinese text

Ideographer.com has released Pinyin Dictionary 2.1.0, updating the Chinese Romanization utility for Mac. The new version supports the Chinese tokenization feature in Mac OS X 10.5, and includes bug fixes. The update also has improved transliteration for large texts, an option to disable tone marks, and an option to show only one reading for characters with multiple readings. Also new are punctuation mark preservation, word segmentation and a resizable main window and text input fields.

The Pinyin Dictionary systems include Hanyu Pinyin, Zhuyin (Bopomofo), MPS 2, Wade-Giles, and Tonyong Pinyin. The software requires Mac OS X 10.2 or later and is free to download.
