f/8 iPhone app intros lens picker, cinema cameras

Blitwerkz says it has updated its photography calculator app, which is now at version 1.1. f/8 allows users to input the details of the camera and lens they are using, then adjust details of the picture they are working on for ideal depth-of-field effects, including hyperfocus. The update incorporates a new lens picker, which removes the need for tedious keyboard entry, as well as presets for over 30 cinema cameras.

Automatic distance conversion has also been added, along with fixes for bugs that affected the way information was stored. f/8 is available at the App Store for $4.
