iPhoneLive conference

O'reilly Media has scheduled a preview of its iPhoneLive conference, to be web-cast on Tuesday, October 14th at 10:00AM PDT. Program co-chairs Bill Dudney and Raven Zachary will be offering a glimpse of their presentations that will take place at the formal conference taking place on November 18th in San Jose. Bill's topic is Introduction to iPhone Development, a discussion aimed at getting people started with app creation for the device.

Raven will be talking about App Store Licensing Models, where he will evaluate the pricing conditions and strategies for advertising and pricing. Listeners can prepare questions to follow the presentation regarding iPhone application development.

The San Jose event in November will delve into business and development ideas relevant to the iPhone platform. The two main themes will be Build and Launch, covering everything from the basics of app creation to marketing strategies. Apps that haven't yet come to the market can be presented at Launch Pad, allowing developers to present new ideas and startups.

Other speakers that will offer presentations include Erica Sadun of TUAW and Ars Technica; gaming guru Neil Young; Trism developer Steve Demeter of DemiForce; Cocoa expert Mike Lee of United Lemur; iFund manager Matt Murphy, and more. Pricing for attendees is set at $625 until October 14th, where it will be raised to $750, or $850 on-site.
