Marware unveils new cases for iPod touch 2G, nano 4G

New Marware iPod cases

Marware has unveiled several new iPod cases, including the Glide and Sportsuit Convertible for the Touch 2G, and the Sport Grip and Sportsuit Convertible for the Nano 4G. The Glide case is made from textured Nappa leather with a microfiber interior. A recessed pull-tab is designed to allow the iPod to be pulled out easily, and the case works with either the second-generation Touch or the original. The Glide is shipping now, and available in black, blue, purple, or pink colors for $25. Included is a clear protective film and a microfiber cleaning cloth.

The Sport Grip case offers silicone protection of the Nano 4G's surfaces, but still allows access to its ports. Material is textured for grip, and contains an anti-microbial compound. A film protector, microfiber cloth and dock port protector are included. The Sport Grip is available now in black, white, and frosted colors for $15.

The Sportsuit Convertible case for the Touch 2G and Nano 4G can be worn in three different ways; attached as an armband, on a clip, or as a sleeve protector that slides into a pocket. The Touch version uses lycra to protect the device, and "Orca-skin" material on the outer surface; the Nano case is constructed with neoprene. Both are presently being sold only through pre-order, with the Touch model costing $35 and the Nano one $30.
