The Tagger tag editor

Deadbeat Software has announced The Tagger, an MP3 and AAC tag editor for Mac. The software allows users to batch edit audio files, and claims to support a wider range of ID3 tags than iTunes. Files can be automatically selected for editing using an integrated browser, and any changes are saved instantly. Included tools allow changes to the tag case or trim tag.

Prefixes or suffixes can be added or removed, and a tool is provided for finding and replacing regular expressions across multiple files. Information for tracks, albums, and artists is searched from Discogs.com. Users can add multiple artwork images for each file and delete the personal information hidden in iTunes Plus files. The Tagger for Mac OS X is available from Deadbeat Software for $30.
