GeoEdu launches
An independent developer has released GeoEdu, a combination atlas and educational game. In the game, players pick one or more continents, and answer questions in eight categories such as Territories, Capitals, Numbers and Currencies. A Voyage mode has gamers crossing borders, for instance attempting to get from a dependency to its parent country.
Categories can be combined, and questions can be delivered at random, or in terms of the ones with the lowest scores to date. Players answer either directly or through multiple choices, and can receive up to 15 clues. A demo of the game is available for download in the Americas; an unlock code costs just under $12, and removes limits on geography, play period, and score sharing.
