Griffin cases for new iPod
Griffin Technology has announced the expansion of its case collection for the iPod touch 2G and iPod nano 4G. The new offerings include the Elan Form, FlexScreen, Reflect, and iClear. The Elan Form is available for both new devices and features a shell of leather bonded to polycarbonate. A screen protector is included, and EasyDock design elements allow the iPod to dock without removing the case.
FlexScreen for the Nano covers the entire face of the player with a clear scratch resistant polycarbonate layer, with a frosted silicone outer surface that is textured for better grip. The click wheel is covered with a static peel protector. FlexScreen will be available as a two pack that includes black or clear colors.
Reflect for the Touch features a mirrored metallic finish and leaves the screen, dock connector, and headphone jack accessible. The back of the case is a matte black rubberized material that snaps onto the iPod. The screen can be protected with an included peel protector, that can be cleaned with a cloth that is provided with the package.
iClear for both new iPod models and the iPod classic is made of clear polycarbonate and available in two models, a standard case and another with a belt clip or armband. The belt clip can be used to prop the device upright while viewing videos. A screen protector and microfiber cloth are provided with the Touch version.
The new cases will be available soon, with the Elan Form and iClear cases priced at $30, and the Reflector and FlexScreen priced at $25.
