iPhone to be sold at Future Shop locations in Canada

iPhone at Future Shop

Canadian retailer Future Shop has announced it will be selling the iPhone starting in October. Customers will be able to purchase the phone at fifteen different locations initially. The phone will still be on the Rogers network, where it has previously been available directly, or at The Telephone Booth and Wireless Wave stores.

Best Buy Mobile has been rumored to have plans to carry the iPhone in the near future as well. Future Shop customers will be able to activate their phones in-store at the time of purchase, with accessories available at the retail locations and on the company web site.

    wow

Do you think this might have been what those 'reserved slots' on their product sheets were all about?

Not likely as there were both french and english versions of whatever that was. I think any language choices for the iPhone are made on the phone itself.
I hope FutureShop does a better job selling iPhones than they do Macs. Their Apple "departments" are pathetically sad and neglected afterthoughts and their salespeople are for the most part completely ignorant about the product.
