Rivet 1.3 update

Cynical Peak Software has released Rivet 1.3, the latest version of its tool for streaming content from a Mac to an Xbox 360. The updated release can be configured to only show unplayed podcasts, and better handles network connections while sleeping. Numerous bugs have been fixed as well.

Rivet allows music streaming from an iTunes library, and video streaming from user-defined folders. Photos from Aperture, iPhoto, and various other folders can also be viewed. Any content that is moved or deleted is automatically updated on the Xbox. Supported file formats include: AAC, MP3, WMA, H.264, DivX, AVI, JPEG, GIF, TIFF, RAW, PSD, PDF and more. Rivet 1.3 is available from Cynical Peak for $20, and requires Mac OS X 10.5.
