PhotoPRINT 6 improves speed, adds new user interface

PhotoPRINT 6 released
SA International has released the latest version to its digital printing software, PhotoPRINT Family 6. This version offers a redesigned user interface, new drivers for printers and cutters, improved preset management, and higher processing speed. The PhotoPRINT product family includes Server-Pro, Server, DX, and SE. Server Pro is a client-server package that includes an editor station for layout and design and "Color Profiler" for making and editing output profiles.
Print Server is another client-server tool, featuring job priority, page nesting, and job nesting functions. PhotoPRINT DX layout design package allows text, shapes, and effects to be added to projects including print and cut decals. The finished product can be sent to two printers simultaneously.
PhotoPRINT SE is designed for single-workstation use, allowing direct RIP printing from Photoshop, Illustrator, QuarkXPress, CorelDRAW, and CAD/AEC/GIS products. Various packages are offered, with quotes available from SA International.
