updated 10:00 am EDT, Fri September 19, 2008

PageSpinner 5.1 released

Optima System says it has released v5.1 of PageSpinner, its web-editing suite. The software supports code such as HTML, PHP, CSS and JavaScript, and has integrated functionality with Apache and Mac OS X's Terminal. The v5.1 update is said to improve compatibility with Leopard, including cosmetically. Users can also insert links for iPhone-ready video formats.

Other changes include access to website commands from the software's Dock menu, and the option to automatically proof HTML or PHP syntax when saving. PageSpinner costs $30 in a single-user license, and comes bundled with licenses for MapSpinner and CamSpinner. Mac OS X 10.4 or later is required.
