MacRabbit lays plans for Espresso web suite

MacRabbit plans Espresso

CSSEdit developers MacRabbit have announced plans for a related piece of software, Espresso. The application is intended to cover the whole of the web development process, with the focus being on the code editor, which will support HTML, XML, CSS and JavaScript by default. The syntaxes of other languages should be recognized through special plug-in extensions, called Sugars. The editor will also support "code folding," a feature that collapses sections of code so the rest is easier to view.

Other features of the software should include special organizing and search panels, as well as a server sync tool. The latter will support updating, merging or mirroring code, over S3, FTP or SFTP. Espresso is expected to ship sometime in November, though MacRabbit says it is still hunting for testers and Sugar programmers; beta-test applications are being taken. The program should be Leopard-only.

    Wow

That icon would not work for me... it looks far too tasty! I'd be drinking far more coffee than usual!
