MacUpdate promo extended, Lightzone unlocked
MacUpdate has extended its application bundle Back-to-School promotion until tomorrow and unlocked the last app, Lightzone. The promotion offers 10 software titles, with a combined normal price over $600, to be purchased as a package for $50. The list of applications includes HookUp, Alarm Clock Pro, Periscope, DEVONagent, Mellel, Norrkross Movie, Bookends, MacJournal, Contactizer Pro, and Lightzone.
Hookup allows users to access and stream media from local or shared network libraries. Alarm Clock Pro can be used to play recorded text or audio at specified times, send text message reminders, or to help remember important days. Periscope can turn a webcam into a motion sensor and security camera with e-mail updates.
DEVONagent is designed to sort through and organize search engine results. Mellel allows word processing and supports multiple languages and character sets. Norrkross Movie allows editing of video, addition of titles or audio, and support for green screen effect.
Bookends can be used with Mellel or other word processors to automatically create bibliographies and references. Contactizer Pro allows users to manage personal and business contact information. The last app to be unlocked, Lightzone, is used for editing photos.

Lightzone BASIC!
Hi,
it should be noted that – though an excellence app – the included Lightzone locence is for Lightzone BASIC only! It lacks the sophisticated browser-related functions (batch-editing images in stacks, manipulation of metadata) of Lightzone-Full. Upgrade is about 60 Euros.
I think it is a habit of these promos, that such differences are NOT made clear or explained. This should change.
