DB Solo 3.5 adds procedure editors, export tool
DB Solo has released the latest version of its SQL Query tool, DB Solo 3.5. DB Solo is a tool for cross-platform database query. Features include visual explain plan, database data comparison, schema comparison, import tools, J2EE code generator, and schema scripting. Mac OS X, Windows, Linux, and Solaris are all supported, in addition to major DBMS products including Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Sybase, H2 Postgres, MySQL, and Solid.
An export tool has been added, and users can now use stored procedure editors for SQL Server, Sybase, and Oracle. The new editors allow procedures and functions to be created, edited, viewed, compiled, and executed: rows from a table can now be exported to a CSV or SQL file. The table comparison tool has been improved, now supporting millions of rows, and compatibility with SQL Server 2008 and Oracle 11g has been added.
"With these latest features and improvements DB Solo takes the tool to a level never seen in this price range before", said Marko Hantula, CEO of DB Solo.
Prices for version 3.5 start at $100 for a single-user license.
