Spring Cleaning updated
Smith Micro Software has launched Spring Cleaning 10.0 for the Mac, with faster performance and over 50 tools for cutting file clutter and managing content. Spring Cleaning uses a one-window interface to track a Mac's contents, aiding users in organizing and archiving files and scripting common tasks.
Spring Cleaning includes a File Sorter, which organizes files and find duplicates, and now adds a photo organizer called Photo A. K. A., which organizes and uploads images and can archive images to disk. Version 10 of the software adds a movie finder, supporting 17 common video formats (QuickTime, AVI, TiVo, DivX, WMV and more) and a podcast finder for relocating podcasts files into one location.
Spring Cleaning v10 adds scripting support for AppleScript, Python, Ruby and more using the scripting bridge in Mac OS X 10.5. It allows users to create scripted work flows for automating common Spring Cleaning tasks.
Spring Cleaning v10 supports Mac OS X 10.4.2 or higher, with scripting support requiring Mac OS X 10.5 or newer, and is available now for $50.
