OWC warranty extensions

Other Word Computing today announced more warranty extensions, and retroactive coverage, for many of its FireWire and USB storage products. The company recently announced the addition of three year protection on its 80GB+ Mercury Elite-AL Pro, Pro 'Classic', and 40GB+ On-The-Go series, or two years on the 80GB+ Neptune 'Value Done Right' series. OWC has added the 80GB+ NewerTech miniStach v2, v2.5, v3, and GuardianMAXimus RAID-1 drives to its list of products with three year coverage. Customers that have purchased any of these drives earlier this year (back to January 1st) will be protected by the new warranty terms.
