Video Gogh 3 released

RE:Vision Effects has published Video Gogh 3, the latest version of its video post-effects software. The software attempts to simulate the look of various kinds of paintings and illustrations, such as oil, chalk and watercolor. The third edition adds a variety of features, most notably the option for animated and custom brush sets, with user-selectable brush images and render styles.

People can additionally choose to paint over the original video to cover for holes in output, and tweak the variability of brush stroke width, the growth and "death" of strokes when they cluster or separate, and orientation using alternate images or direction maps. Other features include "properly" semi-transparent layers, 16bpc support and better handling of motion tracking.

Video Gogh 3 costs $120 new or $40 as an upgrade, and supports After Effects 7.0, Final Cut Pro 5.1, and Premiere Pro CS3 or later, as well as Fusion 5.32b.

    Amazing

Amazing sample picture Macnn used there.. Looks like someone sneezed on the lens of a very early/primitive digital camera.
