Thiel Zoet system

Thiel Audio has announced its new multi-channel plug-and-play distributed audio system, Zet. Location determination and communication between the self powered Zet speakers and the dB1 distribution processor can use Thiel's wireless network, claimed to be lossless, a home Ethernet network, or a combination of both as needed. Thiel claims the system can be set up and running in less than an hour using just its simple remote control.

This new system is claimed to eliminate problems associated with synchronization of the audio signals, using algorithms to retain the sound image quality without sonic echo. Subwoofer setup and mixdown are also automatic, the system will sense the number of speakers present and account for differences. Control of the system can take place from any speaker location, regardless of where the processor has been placed. Pricing and availability dates were not provided.
