Boinx buys PhotoPresenter

Boinx Software has announced its acquisition of PhotoPresenter, the picture viewer developed by Arizona Software. The product will be an addition to its line of related products including FotoMagico Express and FotoMagico Pro. PhotoPresenter will allow customers to quickly put together slide shows "literally directly out of the camera" according to Boinx CEO Oliver Breidenbach, in contrast to the FotoMagico series that requires more time, but allows the creation of a whole story with the image presentation.

PhotoPresenter allows the creation of slideshows using both images, videos, and sounds. Songs or playlists from iTunes can be combined with photos from Aperture, iPhoto, or any other source. Templates can be used to style the presentation automatically. The final product can made into a QuickTime movie or be exported to Email, iPhone, iPod, Apple TV, iWeb, or iDVD. PhotoPresenter 3.4 is available for $20 from the Boinx store, compatible with Mac OS X Tiger or newer.
