ToneFXs for iPhone

A developer called Efiko Software says it has released ToneFXs, a new app for jailbroken iPhones. The software attempts to diversify the sounds an iPhone uses for regular functions, primarily ringtones. Users can for instance choose to shuffle their ringtones, picking from a pool which can be chosen while an iPhone is on the go.

The app additionally enables customization for events like new mail and text messages, and even base-level system events such as unlocking or tapping at the virtual keyboard. To generate effects, Efiko has additionally created simple editing software for Mac and Windows computers. Installing the iPhone app requires launching Cydia and selecting ToneFXs from the Utilities category; PowerPC Macs are not supported for ToneFXsCreator however, and Efiko is requesting donations between $5 and $15.
