OWC increases warranties

Other World Computing today announced the extension of warranties for its FireWire/USB storage devices. In the Mercury series, the On-The-Go, Elite-AL Pro Single/Dual drive, Elite AL Pro RAID/Mirror, and Elite Pro Classic will all now have warranties extended to three years. The Neptune "Value Done Right" single drive will have a warranty of two years. All OWC storage devices are Leopard compatible and include a software bundle.

    Don't usually endorse

I don't usually endorse any product plug on Mac NN, but in OWC's case I'll make an exception.

I've been buying OWC drives for about 10 years. Of the possibly 10 or so drives I've bought, one failed. OWC didn't even ask for a receipt, they simply exchanged it, without hesitation, right away.

Also, generally, they're products are in line with a budget conscience storage buyer's needs.

I know I'll buy from OWC again, good to know the warranties on their products are extended.

    agreed

These folks are great. Mac friendly and great service. I have bought 50 plus drives and many dozens of GB of ram from them....
